Dancing since her early youth, Charlotte originally trained in ballet, contemporary, and jazz, but she crossed over into crafting theatrical performances and expanded into other principles, including circus arts, burlesque, and physical theatre. She has worked with several large theatre and dance houses in Chicago and New York, as both performer and creator, and has worked in China and Indonesia as a musical theatre educator and creator. Her work lifts what is human and familiar, and viscerally reimagines it as sensational and surreal, combining dance and circus spectacle with theatrical storytelling.
